“Lapwing” is a junk rigged Newbridge Navigator, LOA 19ft, beam 7ft 6in, draft 2ft (bilge keel). GRP construction with a self-draining cockpit, anchor locker, a large cockpit locker, gas locker and tiller steering. The undersides were last antifouled in May 2023. Currently on a drying mooring which may be transferable to new owner, subject to approval by the harbour office.

The outboard is a 2019 Tohatsu 4 hp four stroke with very low hours, which is mounted in a cockpit well and supplied from a 20 litre remote tank.

The junk rig has a single tan Hasler-style junk sail, an aluminium mast and fibreglass battens, yard and boom. The running rigging is all in place and all lines are led back to the cockpit.

The cabin has a forward hatch, a V berth with infill and two quarter berths, all with cushions, a galley area with space for stove and sink, a collapsable table and ample stowage space throughout.

Equipment includes a 5kg Bruce anchor, manual bilge pump and boarding ladder, various warps and fenders, tool kit, boat hook, bucket, sponge and bailer and red ensign. There is also a 7 foot inflatable dinghy with oars, air pump etc.
