Austin A30 1954, excellent condition

I’m moving to the UK soon so I sadly need to sell my lovely A30

Mileage is 68,058 at this moment

Car & Classic book value for excellent condition A30 is £9,457 for good condition £8,235 so the asking price is very fair considering the upgrades as well

It has a huge history file, I bought it for £8,000 and I’ve spent a good £1,500 since on improvements such as an alternator to replace the awful dynamo and period front seat belts

It has the A35 948cc more powerful engine rather the standard sluggish A30 803cc engine

It isn’t watertight so I cover it with a taylored car cover

The only bad points are it could do with a new chrome rear bumper and the front grill needs polishing or rechroming/replaced, this would make the car near perfect

I’ve left the car 6 weeks without driving once and it still started up fine, it’s a reliable useable classic, great fun to drive

The car always gets lots of attention wherever I go so be prepared to chat lol
