I’m selling this X1 as it’s just sat on the drive not being used due to a recent unplanned upgrade.

As a whole it is in good clean, honest condition. As with most ex UK it has stone chips etc on the front end from motorway use and the usual minor scratches and scuffs here and there as you’d expect of a 13 year old car.

The car has a good service history, with the most recent service having been carried out mid February this year.

Points to note:

- As mentioned the body work comes up well but is starting to show its age here and there.

- Tyres are great but the alloys could do with a decent refurb as the previous owner hasn’t done the best job on them!

- EGR delete has been completed this week at the cost of £395.

- These cars are notorious for transfer box issues on the xDrive, when I purchased the car from the UK I could hear the beginnings of a clunk coming from said transfer box. To combat this I’ve disabled the transfer box and the car is now RWD. It’s driven faultlessly ever since and is actually more fuel efficient now to boot.

To sum up, it’s never going to win any beauty awards anyway as BMW’s designer was clearly having an off day looking at the front of it (guessing hasn’t been fired either going by some of the recent models) however, it would make a nice reliable cheap family car.

*Also included in the sale is the Genuine BMW aero roof box and rails which are nigh on brand new and this setup is worth circa £800 to £1000 on its own!
